Clayton sits just north of the shop. Jonesboro, Riverdale, Morrow, Forest Park, and Lovejoy are all on the schedule. The housing runs from older in-town blocks to subdivisions built as the south side of Atlanta grew, so two streets in the same ZIP can have very different roofs.
We see a lot of worn three-tab and architectural shingles, gutters that overflow into brick, and siding that has taken full sun on the rear elevation. Window calls here are often a fogged front unit or a sill that stains after a blowing rain.
Clayton County and its cities do not share one permit desk. We look up the parcel before we promise a filing path. The inspection itself is the same visit we make in Fayetteville: photos, a clear repair-or-replace call, and a written price.
